I just bought a minn kota cause they get great reviews whereas a lot of chargers get mixed or poor reviews on cable as or basspro.

I've had my 3bank from cabela's since '08 and it's been flawless. I keep it plugged in all the time between trips. For the money when mine quits I will replace it with the same.

I have a dual pro professional series 3 bank unit that has never failed me. I believe it's the same one that comes stock on new rangers. Quiet efficient and it's amazing how many years of quality battery life you get with a high end charger.

I second the Dual Pro! I don't think I have ever had a charger keep my batteries lasting so long. Very pleased with it!

I bought a minnkota this spring because of the reviews on Cabelas or Bass pro?? Cant really remember..

Seemed like every other brand had mixed reviews(near 50/50), but the Minnkotas had overwhelmingly positive..

Have not a had a reason to complain about it yet.. Also had a Pro mariner in my last boat that did well for the 2- 3 years I owned the boat.

If I had to buy another today thouogh I'd probably get another Minnkota off ebay..

I'd avoid pro mariner. Witnessed 2 split down the center for no apparent reason, just outside the 1 year warranty. Using a guest charger now, so far so good!

MinnKota 3 bank for me. Have had 'em in my last two boats, and no problems.

Minn kota 3 bank about 8 yrs now. 0 problems. I think that you need to keep in consideration where it's kept. Ventilation, moisture, etc. keep them off of damp carpet. Mount it down securely vibration, and banging around will absolutely destroy them.

i decided to go with the 4-bank mini-kota digital charger hoping the fancy technology will make it idiot-proof ... yes, i left myself open on that comment, but i know me. hope it works. can't bring money with you, right? ughhhh breaking out another thousand and hell-bent on making this old boat new one year at a time.

Guest or Dual Pro.. have both, top notch. I hear the minn kota is decent but they are large and heavy. Take up too much room. My guest is about half the size and weight.

this new minn-kota is engineered to be thin ... and compact. i'll take a picture of it mounted once i get it done. for the money, i may frame the picture and put it on my fireplace mantle.
