Hi everyone, I have been taking trip for past 15 years with 6-12 guys chasing musky on Cass lake and I think we are looking to make a change. We typically go the last week go August. We usually have people bring their own boats and some rent. The 2 lakes we have discussed so far are Vermillion and Wabigoon. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Niel

Posts: 518 Location: Cave Run Lake KY. | Triton215 - 9/7/2013 9:41 AM ((((((( Two completely deferent lakes and two great fishing lakes. I like Wabigoon over the big V but that's just me. Vermillion has a big fish REP. but so does the Goon, the Goon is shallow and weedy the V has deep trout like water. The Goon gives up more muskies and is in a up spring for big fish were as the V seems to just give up big fish. If I were going to Canada Id go to LOTW's Pick one go fish hard, fish smart, and get lucky and you will get your 50"er. <<<<<< GOOD FISHING TO YOU MARV.Hi everyone, I have been taking trip for past 15 years with 6-12 guys chasing musky on Cass lake and I think we are looking to make a change. Posts: 38 | Merkels camp on Wabigoon has been my spot for last 7 yrs.Keep the cold fronts away and you will have plenty of action.Chinwhiskers is correct on saying the muskie are on an upswing. And plenty of spots all to your self.If you stay at Merkels ,pm me for a hotspot, but I only give you one
