If green is really the most visible line underwater, why are most musky lines green?

who says green is the most visible? I thought green was least visible, besides white in really clear water.

I don't think it matters for muskie because you'll always have some sort of leader whether it be a steel leader or fluorocarbon.

From underneath a line that belnds in with the sky is the least visible.
I use white line, i can see it very well and i believe the fish cannot!
