Location: MN | I'm no expert but when it happened to me recently it was because I had left the master switch on and drained the starting battery so the voltage was low. Once I got it charged back up it started responding. You can check the voltage on your gps unit. Now if it's not that then everything I have read says it is a connection problem to the module or a bad module. |

thanks for the reply.. disconnected all the nmea plugs and reconnected them. all look good. battery is full charge. this is an LCX-25C unit with an LGC-2000 puck. 2006 620VS Ranger. if that helps any all worked just fine last week in canada. worked just fine from mckinley marina boat launch out thru the north gap and 1/4 mile or so out into the lake the not responding box popped up and thats all she wrote. |

I live in Pewaukee off of SS and I-94. I have the LGC-3000 with a 520C. If you want to I can take it off of my boat and try it on yours. Let me know.

| I have an LCX 25 with a 2000 puck and it hasn't happened on the unit. But I have an LCX 27 with a 300 puck and it happens two r three times a year. Last time it came on after being out a hour or so. I can't figure out he cause I thought it was voltage also but now I'm not so sure cause of what happened last time. Good Luck. |
