I moved a lot of fish on both. I honestly don't think they care. The tails on the medussas seem like they want to come off a little easier but we had fish trying to shred both of them. The medussas have slightly more "pull" to them. It seems like you can feel them a little better, but the double dawgs pull very easy through the water. The medussas run perfect out of the pack as long as you don't completely go crazy with them. The double dawgs need a little bit of of bending or tuning on occasion as they tend to want to turn upside down when you pull. I really like both baits and look forward to using the super D's as well!

I like the twisted tullibee bait for a twin tail and the Medusa for a triple tail lure. Medusa runs deeper and the twisted t. runs shallower. Both have a place in the tackle box for different situations.

How do you "tune" a double dawg or other rubber bait so that they run true? I have had this problem more with mag dawgs and especially curly sues. I assume bend them somehow, but was just curious...

I am no expert by any means of the imagination but I changed my retrieve pull a bit and also bent the bait right or left depending on which way it was rolling up by the front hook

I like the regular size Medussa. The new Medussas that are now made by Esox Assualt don't hold up as good as those older ones made by Chaos. The newer ones have a shorter profile but I think that makes them swim better.
