When does trolling season really start to pick up and become extremely effective?

Trolling is effective from opening day until ice out. Spring and summer trolling are two of my most productive ways to fish

If you can launch the boat you can catch fish trolling. Effective trolling is much more involved than most may think. The open water trolling bite does pick up this time of year in PA NY
