if you want to use your own grubs, all it takes is a little ingenuity. Use the hook or paper clip to clear a path along the center of the grub, then force the eye of the treble threw it. But I recommend the Killr Tails. They are great. |

Location: SE, WI. | I like the double twister tails for trailers,4"  I use a small nail about half way down the grub body to boar a hole...then push treble through the top. There is a flatter side to your treble...now put a thin coating of superglue on flat side and hold grub body against for a minute. This will help hold the grub in place from sliding around the treble.  JD |

Location: Detroit River | Either buy some "Killer Tails" from Esox Assualt Tackle (the hollow ones). Or you can buy some 5" or 6" grub & use a thick nail & put it through the grub so you can slide the hook through it. I just bought a 1/2 dozen bags of the hollow killer tails from Esox Assualt & like them better than having to punch a hole through them.    |
