Location: Oconomowoc, WI | I'm borrowing a buddy's GoPro for a trip to Canada. Going to try and wear it on my head and hopefully get some footage. Just trying to shorten the the learning curve. What setting should I use? The most I might do with the video is post on youtube.
Any other advice or tips are appreciated. Thanks |

Location: Michigan | I would just do it in 720. Recording in 960 is pretty nice, but it won't fill up the entire screen on a youtube upload and the difference isn't really noticeable. If your camera has it, you can definitely record in 1080, but your memory card will fill up a lot faster I believe. Video in 960: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPGo8TNiEYg and 720:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UiLhCvJgot0&feature=c4-overview&list=UUWE6lt9DYSmDmm-DdfS2dLA |

Location: Minnetonka | R3 is 720 resolution at 60 frames per second. R5 is 1080 resolution at 30 frames per second.
While shooting in 1080 @ 30 fps will give you a higher quality image, 720 @ 60 fps will be better for recording live action. |

| 720p@60fps is the way to go. wider resolution so you'll get more in the shot, lesser quality than 1080 so it wont fill your memory card but is still going to look great since it's HD, and the footage won't get choppy as your fish comes flying out of the water thanks to the 60 frames per second. |
