Posts: 379 Location: Thief River Falls MN | If you put in on the east end try casting the whole shoreline from Mohrs point west to Ogema point. Stay in 20' and cast in(bucktails)If that fails try Anderson Pt and the bay to the east. If that fails, hit the shoreline on the point south of haystack island(east side) and fish it past the first bulrush point. If that fails strap on a depthraider, cisko kid, or 10" jake and troll the east end basin about 100 yards out from the weedline. 60' of line out and planer boards if you got em. 4ish mph. If that fails, go to Shamineau... Todd Edited by toddb 7/11/2013 8:39 PM

Posts: 165 Location: tHe LaKe Of PrIoR, mN | have you thought about not leaving base ? not sure you knew or not but lake alot is a lake in ripley that has muskies in it we fished it 2 weekends ago saw 4 fish and lost a small one at the boat and another bigger after about 10 seconds on... the muskies are smaller than alex but it is a pretty neat lake with well, no pressure since you have to be active military to access it... if you do fish it all the fish we saw were just across from the landing off the point near the mouth of that small shallow bay we caught some nice basses too and ive heard the walleyes are nice in there just check in with range control and they will give you a map it has a decent launch heck I put my 620 in there
