The North Metro and TC muskies inc chapters had a little tourny between the two of them last night. I was curious... Who won? What were the results?

I copyied the information from the North Metro Web page.

"North Metro wins the mini-Challunge!!!!!!!

North Metro Member Brian Neubeck landed the only muskie caught .... a nice 34" fish from White Bear Lake. Nice job, Brian!!

That 34" muskie was worth 4 free 14" pizzas and a year's worth of bragging rights. Free pizza tastes soooo good.

Most anglers reported slow action on White Bear last with very few floolws or strikes. The better action was found on Bald Eagle where multiple follows and 2 lost fish were reported.

It was a fun evening and, I believe, we will repeat the event next year.

League rankings remain unchanged from last week. Brian moves into 6th place.

Due to risng water temps, we take a mid-suumer break. The next league night is Aug 6th on White Bear Lake."

There was a great turnout of around 8 boats fishing the two lakes- better than I expected.

Thanks to Chris from the North Metro chapter and the guy's from the T.C. chapter for setting this up. We have something to build on for the future.

Good Luck

Steve
