Location: Leech Lake, Walker MN
Water temps have been rising slowly,now in the mid 70s most all muskies have been seen and caught on rocks in the mid 30s to mid 40 inch stuff the big girls have all been on mid lake reefs.Saw 8 yesterday guiding a guy and his wife that wher fly fishing for them not covering alot of water had 2 shots neither of the in the net,Dam great effort by those to none the less.wallyes lakers and the small mouth and large mouth bite has been fantastic.weeds are starting to get going weed line now is at about 12ft it won't be long and the beds will be crawling with them also the thermocline now is at about 25ft and setting up well.Always calm waters to you al and more reports to come thanks for checking in later Don

Im with you will be my first trip to Rowan Aug 25th. Can't wait to actually cast for rather than trolling the The Deep Blue Water! 600 lb Marlin is a hell of a fish, but I would still take a 45" Figure 8 Muskie strike over a Marlin any day.
