| 2-24's will get you a full day of fishing, just don't buy the cheapies!if you have a northern battery dealer in your area buy a pair of their 24ev's or hd's. |

Yes it will work. But you will have less run time as you would with a larger group. Will that run time be enough? Really depends on how heavily they are used. Most cases yes, unless you are battling wind and current all day. I don't think anyone here can tell you if they can last a day or a half day, etc without know more about the way you use the unit, the amount of thrust applied, weight of boat, etc.

| Will it work better than running 12v? I position fish, very little constant. I do use it troll for eyes when calm. |

Location: Hayward, WI | I'm sure there is a mathematical way to calculate it, but I would guess a 24 volt system using 24's would be better than a 12 volt system on a 27 but I'm just guessing.
I have the old version Alumacraft Navigator. I think it is the same boat as the current Classic, or at least very similar. I have 2, 27 series in the rear storage area. I'm sure I could fit 3 if I wanted. Are you sure the 27's won't work? |
