I'm going to be purchasing a Believer sometime soon and i was wondering am i better off getting a jointed one or a non-jointed one? Which one will have a better action?

Jointed of course has better action. They both have there time n place. If action is slow a jointed can trigger a strike. Straight has a tighter subtle wobble and can be also used as a jerkbait. So get one of each in different colors if possible.

I personal like the look of jointed lures better but I think the straight lures put out more vibration under water. JMO and I have no data to back it up

for casting straight is always a better choice.some guys play with the jointed 10'' model as a top water,so it should work but due to the lack of confidence i have never try it
