| I have a frabill big game and want to replace the bag on it as it is the weighted bad with thin netting. I am looking into a beckman fin saver bag, any thoughts? |

Location: sneaking out to get on the water ;-) | The frabil big game should have the knotless tangle free bag. Maybe you got an old one or a different model. I'd check out tthe specs on the power catch big game. It's the model I have and it's not a thin weighted bag. It's an awesome net w
ith the knotless bag
and I like it far better than my buddies beckman. Beckmans netting always ends up tangled mess of net , fish , and bait. |

I've actually found the complete opposite. The thinner knotless Frabill netting tangles horribly and can cut into the gil plate of the fish even. The thicker coated Frabill bag like on the Kahuna is nicer. IMO Beckmans have the best bags and Frabills have the best frames. |

Location: Hayward, WI | I have a Frabill Powercatch (one size smaller than the Kahuna). I believe the net material on the Kahuna and Big Game Powercatch is the same.
It's quite thick, well coated, and very tangle free and hook proof. It seems to treat the fish well too. I never used a beckman but have seen some Beckman bird nests on TV before. I'd recommend looking into a new Big Game net bag as I think it's different than what you have now. |

The frabil power catch big game is one model under big kahuna and has the same thick knotless tangle free netting as the kahuna. That's why I said that. I fully agree that the thin frabil netting is a pain just like the beckmans. |
