| Heading up to Redgut Bay next week. First time I've been there during the summer. Any pointers on finding muskies. We stay in Bear's Pass but are willing to take long boat rides. We've had a little luck around Muskee bay in the past. Any other suggested areas to check? Any help would be appreciated. |

| Never been but would like to see for myself! Limited population but that's where they seem to concentrate, correct?
Perhaps an approach to consider is widen your expectations and target larger northern and see what happens. You should get bit, stay busy and be alert when that surprise diner arrives rather than being too narrowly focused on locating muskies and perhaps not contacting any. That's not helpful to the hunter's psyche and besides, you're up there to have fun and bang some fish right? It's the Zen of an esox chase. Luke,.. feel the force..... |
