i know there is a plenty of tuff shad look a like out there,so i was wondering who make the best wooden copy from 6 to 8 inch?

Check out Baker Baits. I have caught some great fish off of his lures (lure sizes ranging from 5 to 8 inches).

Baker Baits are great. But don't overlook the through wire Fish-all (Talonz Lures) in the 5" Fat Shad or 7 1/2" Magnum Rippin' Shad.

Baker baits are by far the nicest and most consistent I have used.
