Location: Storm Lake, IA | I have a gift card I need to spend on some new equipment. I have been trying to decide between a pair of costa 580g or a big nasty. I have an arsenal of TI rods and two pairs of polarized Oakleys in amber and dark gray. So I don't really need either one. I'm torn between the two on which one would actually catch me more fish. Any advice for me? |

I have Costa's and love them and think they are a step up from the Oakley's but the jump from a TI rod to Legend St Croix is much higher. Can't say it will catch you more fish than your TI rods but I think you will find the fishing experince much nore enjoyable using "Best in Class" gear rather than low end quipment (which is better than no equipment and there is nothing wrong with any of the low end stuff its that's all that is in your buudget; just stating there is a difference)... |

| where's the gift card to? I'd make sure you have all the essentials covered maybe: 1200yard bulk spool of line, always use more oil for the boat, etc. - You making it up over the 4th? |

Location: Storm Lake, IA | that's not as much fun Justin, but you are probably right. Won't make the 4th just can't get out of work right now. Are you fishing anywhere on the way up? |
