Mine are In-Fisherman, Wisconsin waters and woods, Wisconsin Sportsman, and Saltwater Sportsman. I used to get Muskie Hunter but the articles all seemed repetitive and I can see the past few issues at my mechanics shop.

All I get now is Virginia Wildlife mag., it covers the state inland fisheries plus coastal stuff. I used to get the Coastal Times in N.C. to keep up w/ what's shaking there, but w/ the message boards and a phone, you get stuff faster. I used to get In-Fisherman, Sports Afield, Outdoor Life, Southern Outdoors, Fur Fish + Game, Petersons hunting and Musky Hunter, but gradually let them expire. So much to read, so little time..... I subsribe to Esox Angler and Sporting Tales (not really a hunting or fishing mag...just great old time stories). I also will pick up In-Fisherman and Musky Hunter at the store if something on the cover gets my attention.

Floater-

I too cancelled my subscription to Musky Hunter as I found the articles repetitive, biased, and less and less informative. I subscribe to Esox Angler now and I must say they put a fresh perspective out there. In addition, they are all straightforward and are not afraid to say/write what they think... aka their motto "The Real Deal."

I also must agree with Jason Smith that just about everything you need is available at the click of your mouse... MuskieFirst, Esox Research, Muskies 101, TheNextBite, the list is endless!

If you are looking for a new publication to subscribe to I would give Esox Angler a shot.

Don't actually suscribe to any, but do pick up issues of Musky Hunter, In-fisherman, and Esox Angler from time to time. Usually if I'm going on a trip and will have time in the motel room or my 5th wheel. Spend most of my available time checking out the musky boards, a lot of interesting questions and answers without all the advertisements.

I'm a life member of the North American Fishing Club, so I get their magazine. I had a gift subscription to both Musky Hunter and Esox last year; however I let both of them lapse. The articles were repetitive and neither magazine is cheap, especially considering that they aren't monthly.

I subscribe to esox angler and musky hunter. I sometimes find the articles repetitive, but often there are some very good articles. One thing I really do not like is the pike section of esox angler. I don't fish for pike, and don't like paying for a pike magazine. Its overpriced, but still has good articles. I also do not like the bs advertising in both magazines throughout the article.

The only thing I get is Buck Perry's national newsletter, and from time to time I'll pick up a copy of the Outdoor Notebook, it usually has a few good pictures.

Geez Rob, I wish you would have only put 3 periods behind "play" as I was playing hangman and came up with playgirl as the magazine. Well, at least until I saw the pent...that later followed.[:p]

I subscribe to MuskyHunter and Water and Woods. I've emailed MH to complain about the pike articles. If I want pike info I'd order In-Fisherman or a similar mag. If the pike articles continue or become more frquent, then I'll let my subscription expire, too.

The magazines I suscribe to are Walleye and Bass boats (I love to dream about a new boat), In-Fisherman, Muskie Inc., Midwest Outdoors and use to suscribe to Musky Hunter. I found Musky Hunter hashing over the same old stuff, but like a goof I will pick one up at Ed Shirelys. Al[:sun:]
