| The mold is a 3/4, 1, 1.5 and 2oz banana head jig mold that I use for making spinnerbait. I used a dremel to make a path for the wires. The wires are .051 for muskie spinnerbaits and the hooks are 7/0. The lead pot works fine.

| I've got the same setup but altered to accept .062 thick wire forms and 8/0 hooks. Lead melts in 10 minutes. Tip heat the mold up by pour lead into it a few times without the wire and hook. If not the mold sometimes will not be hot enough to properly mold when pourinv the lead and you end up wasting a hook and wire form. Use a fluid bed and powder paint right afterwards to coat the lead. |
