Posts: 373 Location: Maine Township, MN | Just getting excited! Will be arriving at the lake Friday night. Do some trolling for walleyes and perhaps hit the muskies at midnight, or early Saturday morning. How 'bout you?

Posts: 1360 Location: Lake "y" cause lake"x" got over fished | Lets be honest, I am just gunna waive at everyone tossing musky baits. Since we are all going to be acting and feeling like giddy school girls at their first highschool prom. thats how I feel at the start of every season Edited by FAT-SKI 5/30/2013 3:58 PM

2nd year on the attack, any suggestions with the late spring? Planned on hitting weed beds at 6-10 ft with jerkaits blades and topwater. Any advice is truly awesome!

Posts: 829 Location: Maple Grove, MN | I'll be on a metro lake Saturday morning casting my very productive tarpon lures. If a six-foot tarpon will hit a lure, then why not a 4 foot Muskie? Yeah, I'll probably get skunked.

Posts: 373 Location: Maine Township, MN | No action here. A few pike, went jigging Sun. morning for walleyes and ended up in a school of smallies. That was fun at least. Water temp was 54 deg_F.

Posts: 1169 Location: New Hope MN | We lost one on the 2nd cast of the season Had 7 follows Saturday morning. They were completely unmarked and fat. I don't think they were spawned out (northen MN). Front moved in and nothing including Sunday morning. Caught some pike and chubby pre-spawn bass. Nice to get out!
