As the subject implies my revo toro winch has developed a very annoying squeak presumably after it got dunked in the water while wading the other day. I oiled and greased the reel as shown in the diagram but that didn't seem to do anything to stop the squeak. This is the reel's fourth season and it sees a lot of action but I just spent $90.00 having it repaired a few weeks ago. I'm wondering if this is a lubrication issue or if I should get in touch with the repair shop. Any advice?

Open it up and get the water out. Mine does the same when it gets water inside.

Thanks for the quick replies guys! I pulled the side-plate opposite the handle off and there was some serious condensation in there so I'm letting it dry for the time being. Fingers crossed!

Sounds like the A/R Bearing is wet and needs OIL. Also give the brake ring a drop of oil also, the reel should be recleaned and reoiled.
