Location: IL | My axle on my trailer is bad. I guess the hub melted to the axle? Just wondering if any one has had this problem before? And if I should take it to a shop to get fixed, or fix it my self?

Location: Sun Prairie, WI | That's more of a question for yourself. Do you feel like its something you can fix? If the hub melted to the axle you will probly need to replace the spindle or the entire axle. If you don't have the tools and know how to do this I would take it somewhere. My $0.02 |

| It's a lot harder to change the axle than to keep the bearings maintained. I'd suggest you take it to a shop, for both.
