I have been using Tuff line for 10 years never had a problem with it.But its time to buy another spool of 80# 1000 yards or so is there something better out there I should be looking at or should I just keep using whats been working?

Suffix 832 and PowerPro don't hold as much water... They are all small diameter braids so it's user preference. I have switched from Toughline to PowerPro and now to Suffix...

Spider wire ultracast ultimate braid not the fluoro braid. Been using it since 08 and love it.

Hi Seas Grand Slam Braid! Great stuff. No color bleed, no "break in", quiet, and doesnt retain alot of water.

I've always been a PowerPro guy myself and have no complaints with it. I have recently switched one of my reels to the new Sunline braid and man is it sweet! Holds less water than any line I've used and is smooth. I may consider changing all my eventually to Sunline

I used to think 832 and Invisbraid was hands down the best till I tried Sunline FX2. Unreal!

I use mostly 832 now. Still use some Power Pro too. I want to try Sunline one of these days too. Still, I think most braided lines are more the same than they are different...

if you are going to switch for power pro you better stay with your tuff line.imho cortland bb

Same here, but having used a spool of high-seas, would vote for that, too.
