when is the best period to go fishing when the ice starts to disappear: right after it starts to melt (still some ice to be found) or when all the ice has melted away? I hear about some good catches of pike over here now the ice has started to disappear and all of these big pike have been caught shallow, even in large waters and rivers. Why is that, you think?
