I need to replace a Lakemaster chip. I'm totally confused as to which chip has the DL area lakes HD mapped (1' contours) that is compatible for Lowrance HDS Gen1. I see Lowrance has their own chip for 2013, but is only compatible with HDS Gen2? I can't make sense of the Navionics website. The 2010 Navionics chip I have is not HD. I find it hard to believe that to get a Big Detroit (etc.) HD map chip I need to have a HDS Gen2...

Cabelas East Grand Forks had a Lakemater MN chip for Lowrance last week for $89. Not sure if they still have it but it would work in a Gen 2 and should have DL in 1' contours I believe. Give them a call
