I love little boo-tails and would like to know when these are going to be available and where?

I am not sure what you are talking about Jason!?!LOL

Well Jason, since the word is out I can let everyone in on some information on these guys. At the Chicago show alone, we had over 100 people come into the booth asking about these baits; which is not too bad considering not a whole lot has been leaked out about these. (I guess you can't keep a great thing quiet) We were initially going to have them for show season this year, but we are going to release it as a new bait for 2004, which means that they will be available August 1 of 2003. (this is what I have been told any way)

The bait has been fished for the past 2 years and in that time has taken fish up to 53 1/2" with a 53"er we have on video from hook-up to release. A fish much larger than the 53"er was lost a day before. I had the video at the Chicago show of the 53"er and will have it in Milwaukee and Blaine also. I was e-mailed a picture of a 49"er yesterday that a young man caught and released while fishing with Bill Sandy.

Where it will be available depends on what retailers will bring it in. I do know that Rollie and Helens will want it and Reeds wanted it 2 years ago as Jeff Arnold had fished it at that time and saw what it could do. I would think that Thorne Brothers would bring it in also. I can only assume that other shops that are in musky markets and also larger retailers would want to carry them.

I hope this helps.

I talked with Chuck and if I remember correctly he said a midsummer release and hitting the cover for the 2004 catalog. Todd Plath sent me the pic of his 53"er he caught on a proto... of course it was the only one he had.[:((]

Tick..Tock.....I dont think I can wait until August! Thats like 8 months away![:blackeye:]

Hopefully they will be out, just under the wire so we can buy them for the MF Sabaskong bay outing on LOTW.

Can we at least see a photo of one?
