tuffy1 - 4/30/2013 2:25 PM Mike, let me know when you have some available. I know a pond around here those would get gobbled on during the summer :). Or, even better, you should join me for an afternoon of trolling this summer.

Deal, what colors work and when does the trolling bite start?

Sent ya a FB message on the colors. Bite wise, usually late June into July (although we catch them year round trolling, but usually the deep water bite starts in mid to late June).

Thank you, most of those details are still to be determined, it’s a lure still in development.  So far I can say that when I rip them they give a very nice vibration wiggle feedback in the rod, when I slack line twitch them they kick out pretty nice.  It has good belly roll for flash.   It can hit bottom fairly quick in 4 feet of water if I try.  I tried to bust one bashing rocks at that depth and couldn’t.  I don’t consider this to be a tough bait though; it’s made from a light density foam and that’s why it has through wire construction.  In my trials I’ve made sinkers, floaters, and have now figured out how to make them with the slow rise and weighting that I like.  So far it’s the favorite bait I’ve ever made – but I always say that about my current project lol.   I hope to get some video this summer.

Mike, I just got my walleye Molly Diver today. The picture didn't do it justice.
Looks even better than I expected. Just incredible.
Can't wait to get it wet.
Thanks again.
