jut to give anyone who may be planning on fishing the barbee chain and tippie and james that the IDNR has made these lakes IDLE ONLY till further notice. the lake's are very high and with us getting more rain they may be getting worse...bill

I had planned on fishing webster on Saturday & Sunday, any info on its condition would greatly appreciated? I live about 2 hour south west don't want to make that drive to fish in a mud hole ? Thanks Mark

I would think you could consider all of the Kosiosko County lakes to be described as "mud holes" right now. Visibility is less than 6 inches. Water looks is dark and cloudy as of this past weekend and with last night and today's additional rain, just means more run-off and swelling water levels. It will take a while for the water levels to subside and the water clarity to come back. Fish still have to eat though....
