I've caught a lot of fish over the years on 10 inch jointed Believers mostly in trolling situations. Last night I picked up a Super Believer off a Muskies Canada raffle table.
Have any of you had any success with this lure and do you feel you have lost anything by not having the tail hook? Normally I remove the tail hook on my suicks as this is the hook that seems to seek out the muskies eyes and don't think I have missed many fish. However in looking over my 10 inch Believers the majority have had the rear hook replaced indicating to me at some point I have had to cut that hook.

It wouldn't bother me any to not have the rear hook. I end up cutting a lot of hooks on Believer caught fish also. Most of the muskies I've got on cranks are either t-boned or head/front hook.

You won't miss that tail hook at all. I've caught lots of fish on home-made supers, they hook great!

Had good luck with that lure with small pike and small mouth bass, never caught a musky though! Never lost a fish because of no back hook either.

I bought my first super believer this off season. For the two running depths is there a chart, or can someone give me some idea on my depths with the two??? Mainly trolling, but would love casting numbers as well

Isn't that a copyright violation to post that?

I don't know all that much about copywrite laws. But I believe that as long as he changed even one thing on there that it would not be a copywirte. And because at the end he put "according to them", that would be changing at least one thing. Thus not ilegal.

At least that is what I think it is... but I hope someone smarter than I can confirm it one way or the other. Cause if I am wrong, I wouldn't be suprezied

So I deleated my post but if it is fact can it be copyrighted if a book says it's raining can I not say it's raining.

I actually made a spreadsheet that I carry on my phone of dive curves some info from Muskie Mike sone from lure manufactures and then I make adjustments from my own findings. Drifter that owns Muskie Mikes publishes the dive information on the back of the package.
