| Is there a majic formula for mixing and pouring plastic?
Seams like it wants to eather burn or take for ever! |

| E,
Are you nuking it or using a stove? Remember, anything you add to the formula will change the properties of the goo and make it more susceptable to scorching. I think the wave does the best job depending on the quantities you're making. It tends to heat the plastic more evenly, but you still need to stir about half way through or every couple of minutes. |

| If you are using an open flame, you wil always have trouble because of variables in the setting, how the pot sits on the burner, and the plastisol mix. Use an electric and use the lowest possible setting to get the plastisol to melt. The microwave is another option, but in using a larger pot for multiple pours, the mix will harden too quickly because there is nothing to set the pour pot on to keep it the right temp while moving molds around, etc. |

| How well I know the frustrations working with plastisol. I make My own 11" baits. I use a microwave with an Aluminum mold.Variables such as the temp of the mold etc all come into play. Further each batcH of plastic can be different, even from the same Manufacturer.
