With the advent of Spring, comes higher temps and lower humidity in the painting room. Finally got around to doing the Molly Baits that I got and a couple of Hookers....5th one down on the right is a Mike King lure. As usual the pictures suck.
Gliders are hanging tonight, pictures tomorrow.

Thanks guys, more pictures to come. I can't compete with some guys out there, but I like to paint lures. I don't use stencils, I wouldn't know where to begin to make the eyes, gills and fins that some guys can do, but I catch fish on all black lures every year.
When I see how far things have gone in this forum since I made my first lures in '05, I am blown away by the talent of the artists that are here. What were you guys doing 5,6,7 years ago before you turned lure painting on its ear? I used to paint jigs with 3-ring eyes and I thought that was special.

Hey Beav, Great to have you back in the circle my friend. You have been in it longer than 6 years. We were the "Chrome Team" about 9 years ago. This is my 7th year in TN.
Any way, Great to have you back once again. Lets get together on some more of our special mixtures Bud. Like you, I don't do the fins and stuff unless someone really wants them but I don't do them like some of the artists on this site.
The tech of painting has really gone wild to say the least.

Some other stuff.
Some 10" Mahogany Perkas. Yes, there will be more.
The new Krome effect from HOK that is easy to apply, and blinding to look at. Stan, that one's for you.
Am I the only one who doesn't have a place to sit once I'm done making paint and trying to sort through all of the boxes? I should be on my own reality show. Hell. if Honey BooBoo can make it, I could be on "Artist Hoarders".

Love it Beav, I sit but it is very compact at my man space. Will have to put a picture up of my "Cramper Corner".
Looking as good as always Bud
