Location: madison chain | Hey guys wondering if anyone living in the madison wi area could help me out. My terrova quit working today up on lake wi walleye fishing. The unit still turns left and right and the lights for the auto pilot and continuous buttons still light up. I took the foot pedal apart and cleaned up all the contact points and looked for broken wires. Put back together and still nothing. If someone would be willing to let me try there foot pedal so I could see if mine is bad. I could bring my boat to your house or a predetermined meeting place to try it. Thanks |

Location: Elgin, IL | Contact point on pedal may be worn and may just have to buy replacement. Had that issue a few years back. After tearing her apart and cleaning it head to toe there was no other thing but to replace it. Bingo |

| there are several connections in in the head of the unit, I've only had one issue ever with my terrova and it was a couple of wires that had pulled apart in the head. I doubt that is what your dealing with, but it takes two minutes to drop the screw and make sure, if you haven't already. |

Location: madison chain | Thanks for the replies and the offer I received. I found the problem it was the pos Cable in the head. A bad and melting connection right before the wires run down the shaft. I though of checking to see if the co-pilot would get it to work right after I posted the original question. It would not so that ruled outthe pedal being the problem. Thanks again |
