+1 on carpet cleaner in a can. I use Spot Shot from Menards/walMart. Great stuff. We have a new lab puppy in the house so we keep plenty of this around, and I keep another can in the garage just for the boat and the family vehicles.

About 25 years ago I decided to clean the carpet before the season and when I was scrubbing/rinsing around the live well hatch some soap inadvertently got in there, then at the end of June we had a 46” fish that was struggling a little so we put it in the live well and she died fast. I couldn't figure it out until I remembered cleaning the carpet… the extra foam lead me to the conclusion.

Any type of foaming carpet cleaner, let sit for abit, then power wash it out through the boats drain plug let sit outside and dry. Warm sunny days are best of course

I completely vacuum before I put the boat in storage for the winter, then rent a rug doctor at the local store in the spring and steam clean all the carpet in the boat.

For $25 a year I can completely detail out the boat, plus clean my truck and my wife's car.

Will power washing at the car wash make the carpet pull away from the floor? How about a steam cleaner? Gotta do some carpet in the house this spring and I thought about doing the boat too.
