Location: MadCity Wisconsin | The event is on Saturday this year.... This coming Sat. We changed it from Thursday nights hoping to draw in more people. What do you guys think? Will Saturday bring in more attendees?

Location: Contrarian Island | not sure, most guys i have talked to thought a saturday afternoon was harder to attend vs. saturday night...my opinion starting it at 5pm gives people the day to get their 'honey do' lists accomplished etc....guess we'll find out... ; ) |

Location: MadCity Wisconsin | Yes, maybe guys would have more free time during evening hours. I suppose if the weather is really nice we could get hurt on a Saturday afternoon deal. This year is sort of an experiment to find out. The 5100 Club has an event scheduled that night after our Fundraiser.
One positive indicator is that we have had nearly 80 people pay for advance tickets and "Capital City Cash" for raffle tickets. Most guys are buying both tickets sent to them to give one away for a buddy to attend. |

Location: MadCity Wisconsin | Well, the Saturday afternoon deal worked out great. We packed the house with aournd 225 people. The 2 Rod and Reel combo raffles with a half deck of cards was well received and lots of excitement. Tony Enger's idea.
Thanks to every one who attended and to those who couldnt attend but still bought tickets for the event.
Mike Keyes gave a great presentation on small river fishing. I know a small river that will get my attention this summer! |
