Posts: 2019 | Wouldn't a 690 (using old specs) basically be an 1860 angler only narrower? Brad you need a 619 or 620 ![]()

Posts: 2384 Location: On the X that marks the mucky spot | Anything they can do to keep the prices under $60k would be welcome. I just got back and saw a 21' bass boat sticker at 71k?!?!?!? I swear the industry is going to price themselves out of the market pretty soon...

New boat prices are getting out of hand. It doesn't help that the Fed keeps printing money driving down the value of the dollar.

A guy can get a dam nice Tuffy for the low $30K and a less rig for less money. It would be really hard to justify any more than that......

Location: Sun Prairie, Wisconsin | I would love to see a new 690... If they give it the same kind of treatment that the 175t received, that would be outstanding. Hard to top those 681 and 690 hulls. On another note... it's amazing how low inflation has been despite Zib's economic understanding. Boat prices keep rising while the CPI remains relatively stable. Glass must be getting expensive:) Any how, did I tell you I would love to see a new 690 series boat! Edited by Badgerpat1 3/24/2013 12:06 PM

Posts: 13688 Location: minocqua, wi. | i was at the show ... no "new" 690. the report is so-far third-hand from someone who spoke with Frankie ... nothing beyond that from anyone else who are tuned in directly to Flippin. i'm sure like anything, it could happen but nothing was seen, shown or spoken about at the NW boat show.
