Subject: New TI rods?

Was thinking of two piece model, have heard they might have new models coming out this year. What are the upgrades? Worth waiting? Dawg

I got the 2 piece 9' XXH and i love it for magnum and pounder, sometime i throw the 2-pounder on it and it handles it fine.

But sounds like you are referring to a new model, i would like to know as well

New TI rod models coming out this year are:

All single piece rods:
7' MH, XH and XXH in full grip 14" handles
7'6" MH, XH and XXH in full grip 14" handles
8'6" MH, XH and XXH in both full and split grip 16" handles
So far 12 new rods on the horizon. Working on bass and walleye rods too but those are longer term projects. Maybe 2014 for those.

Yes, the 9' telescopic rods in both split and full grip will continue as well at the 9' single piece rods in full and split grips. Those are my best sellers but I have a lot of retailers asking me for the 8'6', 7'6" and 7' rods. I will also continue to make the new 6' kids musky rods too. LOL I have sold more of the kids musky rods in the last 6 weeks than anything else. I think there was a gap to fill with those kids rods!!

Yes, Tackle Industries will have booth this year at the MN show. We will have all of our rods listed on our website (7'6" and 9' solid and telescopic) and a few 8' XH and XXH rods on special. We will also have the new 6' kids musky rods!
