Sweet!

Have you tested the 2 lures in the 2nd from the bottom pic with the curved lips? Rapala has some new lures out with curved lips & the action on them is sweet.

yep i've tested them they have a hunting action which that lip is originally designed for, lure makers here have been using lips like that on trolling lures for trout and zander since the 1980ties, so what Rapala has come out recently is not exactly anything new.

What exactly is "hunting" action?

basically the lure has its normal wiggle but besides that the lure veers off to left and right (usually 10cm -30cm or even more) with out blowing out and comming back to center retrive line when its being retrieved in or trolled, its sort of like having 2 swimming actions at the same time, it looks pretty cool and natural.

Here's the link to the video of the Rapala Scatter-Rap minnow, which has the same type of lip that Mikko put on those 2 lures that I asked him about: http://www.lindnermedia.com/angling-edge/video/rapala-scatter-rap-minnow

I would love to have that type of action on a musky lure.

Did you make that lip yourself or did you buy it that way?
