Location: Planet Meltdown | I'm in the market for a NE chip and Canada chip. From what I understand, Navionics + will cover both but will it provide the most accurate data such as contour lines and hazards as buying two separate Hotmaps chips for NE and Canada? I tried using the search function with no luck. Very little info on here about Navionics +. I'm mostly concerned with Canada.......taking my boat up to ON this summer for the first time and I want the most accurate chip. Running a HB 899HD combo.
Thanks |

Location: plant earth | If your graph works with navionics platinum series that has great detail. The lake master is a great one as well. It personal preference. If you have a bps or cabelas or a store that deals with those products you can see what you like better. I found 1 of each used for the same as 1 new and have both. Can't go wrong with either. |

Location: Kingston, Ontario | Navionics + has 1ft contour detail throughout Ontario. The beauty is that you can switch your regions back and forth if you are travelling to different areas. You can get the iPhone version for $30 to see if it meets your needs. |

| Check the lakemaster site if your running a HB to see if it covers where your going. The version 5 will link up with your graph if you put the link system in latter (you won't be buying more chips than you need) |

| What sonar are you running? Get Nav + the info is on the Navionics website you can load various lakes all across the US and Canada on one chip no need for 2 chips anymore. You can preview the lakes by going to the Navionics website and clicking on the Web App this what you will get for mapping. If you have a sonar capable of running SonarCharts click on the sonar icon on the lower left corner for the HD view which is SonarCharts. Here is a compatibility chart link http://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/board/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=95...
