Posts: 278 Location: Finland | hey folks i was asked to make a pretty interesting project of a hybrid walleye jig. its meant to be worked like a bulldawg or bondi bait, im rather pleased how that walleye turned out, its pretty huge too 45cm(17.7 inches) and it weights 325g (11.4ounces) it sinks roughly a foot per second. Also made couple of other lures too, a faint rainbow pattern on one of those trolling/crankbaits i did recently and long abalone glider for a avid muskie hunter, it looks pretty cool i think and definitely something that the fish have not seen before. Posts: 1405 Location: Detroit River | That walleye looks bas arse. It's very similar to an H2O Tackle's Hardhead bait except it doesn't have the top line tie for vertical jigging. Have you tested the action on it when it's jigged?
Here's the Hardhead

Posts: 278 Location: Finland | Veithr3293 - 3/23/2013 1:07 PM How did you attach the tail to the lure? with a metal coil that is used to screw the tail to the lure, everyone pretty much uses that method over here for tail baits, that way the tails are easy to change and there is no need for glue

Posts: 278 Location: Finland | its made of maple, i didn't have wood that was the right thickness to accommodate the tail so i just glued 2 18mm plank's together
