Just doing a survey of the Pro's boats. I for one Run a 1990 Tuffy Esox Deep V (no secret). For me it just fits all my needs, big water and small water.

Mine is a 2000 Smokercraft Ultima 182, I went with this boat because I needed something big enought to take out 2 or 3 clients as well as staying dry in November in our 3 ft+ chop while trolling. A lot of large aluminum boats fit that need but the Ultima had the biggest rear casting deck of them all.[:sun:]

This is my boat till I get some kind of sponsorship or I wreck it.[]

I run a Tracker Targa 2000 with a 225 hp E.F.I. Merc and Honda 9.9 hp 4-Stroke kicker. The Targa 2000 is both casting and trolling freindly. The deep V hull is made for rough big water as well. For trolling it tracks very straight and because of the extra weight toward the stern it handles large waves while trolling while staying dry.The seating is moved back in this boat,so the shock on the rider of slamming waves at high speed is a little less then other boats of simular style. For a heavy deep V boat it moves along very fast at speeds in excess of 65 mph and can run good under very rough conditions as well.Only setback is 45" livewells and a little slow out of the hole. But over all I will definately buy another New Targa 2000 next season,I have been very happy with this boat.

2002 Crestliner 1850 Fishhawk 150 hp

In my opinion the Crestliner is the best boat for the $$$ under $20,000. And the local Marine helped with sponsorship.

I hope to get a Tuffy 1990 Esox Deep V at the end of next season.

2001 Tuffy Esox Deep V with a 225 HP Mercury EFI and a 9.9 HP Mercury Four Stroke Kicker. Lowrance X85's and a Minn Kota Power Drive bow mount trolling motor.

I wanted a big boat that could handle ANY water. I will be the first to say it is probably over kill but it sure is a ton of fun. My clients like the extra room to spread out and enjoy the day on the water. The Fox Chain can be brutal on Summer days. My clients feel totally safe in this boat regardless of the boat traffic around us. Plus, it allows me to compete with the 30' Baja Boats (LOL). The Madison Chain can kick up some pretty good waves on windy days. This boat allows me to provide total comfort as well as the ability to stay on the 'spot on the spot' in heavy winds.

The 9.9 Kicker was a must for trolling. You can troll for hours without using much gas. Nice and quiet too.

I have been running Lowrance X-85's for the past three years and they are great units. The service is outstanding if you should ever have something go wrong with a unit.

The Minn Kota Power Drive Bow mount has a cord extension that allows me to run the trolling motor from the back of the boat. I have no trouble maneuvering the 20'1" rig from the back. Handles great. The 65lb. thrust does the trick.

I run an Angler Boats 190C. This is a monster boat - actually a saltwater machine. 19'3", with a 8.5' beam its entire length. Centre console design, with tons of storage, and room. Built on a stepped catamaran tunnel hull, so very stable in rough water for casting or trolling. (It's powered by a Merc Optimax 150 saltwater.)

I wanted something big enough to handle big water, with lots of room, and the ability to add "toys" at anytime. I also wanted a fibreglass boat that had no wood in it (ie: no sub-floor or floor to replace). This boat meets all of this and more. It's probably the wildest looking muskie machine around!
