Posts: 243 | Lots of different options out there, but I'll do some unabashed self promoting. I prefer not to use clips or rubber bands and Badwater Baits quick strike rigs put a lot of fish in my boat every year. Mark Rottier has tinkered with the design for over a decade and the latest versions are awesome---especially if you're using larger suckers. Video of how to rig them is on our website. Love that sound of the clicker singing!

Juhas, I've been looking at the Stealth Tackle rigs looks like a easy setup. Do you prefer fluorocarbon or the wire leaders? One or Two hook setup? Thanks! Walker

Posts: 431 | Walker. The number of the hooks is based upon sucker size. One hook for the smaller and two hooks for the larger. Regarding floro or wire, some may feelit is a personal prefference and some may say that water clarity has a lot to do with it. One thing for certian, the Stealth rigs are BY FAR the easiest of the retailed rigs to use and look the most natural on the sucker. Go to the Stealth Tackle website and pick up yourself some and give them a try. Chris

Posts: 238 | I used to use herbie rigs. Bought the hanson harness Sat. got 3 fish on it 41" Was biggest. hooked up pretty good. I got the single treble one because I can only get small suckers. I liked that it came with its own weight so i didnt have to buy anything else. I did not see that it came in a floro model also. Don't think I would use floro for a sucker rig

Figure 8, Check out Muskie Tackle Online.com they have pictures of the different rigs they offer. The leader is a 18-20 inch fluorocarbon, and after the ring where the aberdeen hook is its 7 strand leading to trebles, but I agree what ur saying. Going to order some to try. Thanks for the input! Posts: 833 | I tie my own and prefer the toothy critter coated tyable wire to attach the hooks to the clip. Easy to tie and will not get bit off in the fishes mouth, also much cheaper than Flouro.

Posts: 11 | Tried the Bucher rigs and a Fuzzys this fall. Both worked, caught 2, a 40(Fuzzys) and a 47(Bucher). So I am pleased with both. Buchers go on a little easier because its just a front hook through the mouth, instead of Fuzzys nostral hook-ups. Missed 1 on the the Fuzzys though. Prob use just use Buchers now, they seem like they are made decent. Has anybody tried the Bucher rig with the blade on the front?

Posts: 2427 Location: Ft. Wayne Indiana | I would highly suggest using Stealth Tackle sucker harnesses. Check them out and get the rig that fits the size of suckers you will be using. Personally I like the double Hulcano for suckers over 16 inches, use the single hook Hulcano and the all flouro rig for suckers under 16 inches. These are top of the line products that John and I both take pride in. Check out this on line store. http://www.stealthtackle.net/store/index.php?route=product/category...

Location: Contrarian Island | bitten off? easily? huh? the ones I make are a fluoro upper section (180 lb) to 175 lb 49 strand...try biting thru 175lb 49 strand!! lol to date no bite offs with the 180lb and 175lb combo...I would venture to guess the rigs have helped me and the guys using them put ~400+ fish in the boat... Stealths overall are great tho and what i would recommend buying. I don't sell mine to the masses...too much of a pain to make... buy Stealths rigs, John is a good guy that makes them with quality and care.

Posts: 72 | I only use the MUSKY PSYCHO rigs. I have been fishing with them with Keith since he started making them . All quality parts no cheap material , and he has many different sizes for a variety of sucker size . He has seven strand or floro , double treble , single treble, or circle hook for small suckers. The circle hook rig this spring was the way to go with only small suckers available at our local bait stores. 50 1/2 , 51 1/2 , 49 , 47 just some of the circle hook fish between him and I . The floro sinle treble caught 49 3/4, 49 , 46 1/2 and multiple 46 and 45's. Never seen one break and the hooking percentage is always very high . Good quality product made from an even better guy ! You cant go wrong
