I have two aluminum props that are currently spares, a 3 blade and a 4 blade. Both are pretty chewed up and in need of repair. I live about 25 min from Madison but would be willing to ship if necessary. Anybody know a good place?

Dorns probably sends them somewhere like Mike's Prop Shop. Might be cheaper to go direct...

If you live west I know Weaver in Cross Plains does prop repair. Never used them so can't comment on price...

i've dropped off my props at The Boat Doctor in the past..I think they recently moved locations...they just ended up sending them somewhere...they probably send them to Mike's prop shop, not sure if Windsor Prop shop is still open but here is Mikes info:

I recommend Mikes, He did some welding on my trailer, then brought it to the boat launch for me when he was done. Good guyot deal with and he knows his stuff.

X2 on Mikes, as a matter of fact I need to go visit him AGAIN this year....grrr. Wish they would get those rocks out of the way at Babcock, maybe they do and Mike keeps putting them back!

They need to get the water levels back to where they used to be. There were some cinder blocks laying out there in front of Babcock also. One of the reasons I always launch at Goodland until the piers are pulled. Fortunately I haven't hit them...yet.

most every place that offers prop repair in Madison is likely sending them to Mikes prop shop. No the Windsor prop shop has been gone fore years now.
