Started to paint a few lures, just curious how articulate you guys are about getting a perfect base before you start to paint. After sealing the wood, I have put down A base coat of white paint and I've used etex as a base coat. When I used the etex, there was a few spots where it was thicker than others and when I used the white paint it high lighted some areas that could have been sanded better. Do you guys sand again or start to paint?
