I have fished eagle a lot and seems the fish move around a lot where I can fish 6 good spots.throughout day and they show up eventually or they were always their and show during better conditions. Anyone fish lac seul at all and know if they move around a lot? Do the feed in the shallow areas or feed deep and digest shallow? I know its a lower density thing up there with qaulity fish so was wondering do most guys come back on prime looking structure over and over when no fish are seen first couple of times fishing it or do they run and gun looking for fish since they aren't in there in high population. Refering to southeast and northeast section. Almost have dad convinced to give it a shot for week with me mid aug.

I'm certainly no expert on that lake as I have only been there a few times but we just used our past experiences on other Canadian water( and WI flowages) to look for basic things you want in a shallow dark water lake..weeds, reeds, stumps. If you are fishing stuff that looks fishy and has the right components it is bound to hold a fish sometimes. I enjoyed the NE part of the lake much more then the SE part, more spots and less people... |
