| I been putting off joining a Musky Inc. chapter or club for too long now hoping to find one more local. I live in Antigo and there just doesn't seem to be enough interest to get a one started here. I do want to join one however, any suggestions on which is closest. Rhinelander? Eagle River? Wausau? Someone help me please. |

| The closest chapter to you that I know is The Headwaters chapter of MI in Eagle River. It is a large chapter but a large amount are not locals. I belong and I am from Appleton so I do not make the meetings.

| The Milwaukee Chapter of Muskies Inc. would welcome you as a member. We also have many members outside the area who don't make our meetings. We do provide a transcript of each meeting to our members in our Chapter Newspaper called, appropriately enough, "NewsCasts".
It is very important to belong to as many outdoor organizations as possible for all the good they can do from a representation basis with governmental agencies. The more members a group has the more credibility is given to any of their special interests or programs.
Come on in![] |

| First WI chapter is over in Eau Claire/Chippewa Falls and we'd welcome you too! Let me know if I can help you with any of this.
Thanks,

| Norm - I'm my own Musky Club, and well, I can't let just anybody join. I'm very selective, an applicant has to have the right stuff. The club's reputation is at stake. I'm sure you understand.
If you are interested in joining please complete the application below. I'll review your information with me at the next Application Review Committee and then make a recommendation at the next Meeting of the Whole Me. Thanks for your interest.

Instructions - Answer the questions.
1. Do you believe in ghosts?
2. What was the best concert you ever saw?
3. If you have a dog(s), what type and what did you name it/them?
Thanks again for your interest in joinging the club. Your application will be processed at upcoming club meetings. I apperciate your patience as I debate the merits of your responses with myself.

| There is the Bills Musky Club in Wausau, several outings but no monthly meetings. The 12 Apostles Club is in Stevens Point and there is a Muskies Inc. Chapter in Medford. I think they have periodic meetings.
It would be nice to see a group that would get together in the Wausau area for weekly or monthly outings during the season and some type of get together or meeting in the winter. I'll bring it up at the Bill's annual meeting to see if there is any interest from them. Or a bunch of us could just do it on our own.
If there is any interest on getting something started let me know.

| Ranger, you never mentioned the fee to apply or join your club. It sounds like a great one! I have my application filled out and the stamp on the envelope![:)] |
