| Sue has peanut butter Christmas cookies in the oven, and I have a loaf of bread going in the bread maker. I don't have to cook for the first time in years because Keith, my son, finished his house this month and is having Sue and I walk across the driveway to enjoy the Holiday and a Turkey Dinner at his place with him and his Lady, Brandy, and Guage, his new Springer Pup.
My son Brian and his wife Sarah will be over in the morning to open presents and eat breakfast, then will stop by for a hot toddy in the evening.
COOL!!!![:praise:] |

| TM, when talking meat pie, is that the French ground pork meat pie that my Gramma used to make? If so, you are one lucky devil. I have not had one of those in a while. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours. Save me a piece of pie will ya? |

| We had a houseful (10) yesterday. Could you smell the BIG Olives in the Korbel Old Fashions and Manhattens? I made an East Indian Pheasant Stir Fry which was a huge hit. Tomorrow night we are going to make the last of the Wild Turkey, (the bird not the booze!), and Caribou for Tuesday night. The in-laws may never leave! LOL!!...Which would be fine too!
Debbie has two homemade pumpkin pies in the oven, talk about great smells!!
I may need to request a new model Tuffy ....A Pontoon Boat just to hold me after this holiday eating season![:p] [:)] [] |

| M1 yes the number one item in a French Canadian holiday meal is meatpies made of a mix of ground beef and pork also some meatballs in gravy mixed with pigs feet accompanied by mash patatos. Naturaly the sugar pie is the perfect desert.
Just like my mama and grandma use to make. [:p] |

YUM YUM I LOVE THE HOLIDAYS[:p]

| My favorite food during my childhood brings back memories of my grandmother Moschell. She was a second-generation American, descended from Swedes (any Mogrens out there?) and lived in Minnesota before coming south with my dad. She would make a Swedish Yule Bread, called (excuse the spelling) Yulekaka; it was a sweet bread with all those fruitcake fruits in it. Once, she gave me the recipe, but in my many moves it was lost. If anyone has a recipe for this Yule bread, please let me know! m |
