Random quote: Rules of Manhood #9: It is permissible to drink a fruity alcohol drink only when you're sunning on a tropical beach... and it's delivered by a topless supermodel ... and it's free.

So i bought this real shell fish vaneer from Korea some time ago and just now started playing around with it. must say it looks absolutely beautiful but that beauty comes with a cost since this is not exactly cheap, mind you this is the real deal not synthetically made like most shops seem to have for sale.

Very nice, if you go to mudhole.com they sell it in small sticky back sheets for rod building, you may wanna check that out.

i prefer the raw abalone it looks way more lively when there is no banking color on it like that microflex stuff seems to have, the stuff i got it iridescent/ see trough . also i do wonder how that adhesive would work on lures that have little bit more rounded shapes like the once i did. personally i only trust on epoxy glue when fixing anything on, it gives you more room to really get it align better when you can move it still when your applying it on to the lure with a sticky back you have to get it right at the first try.

I have never used it but I know they heat it up and it takes to radius of a fishing rod but I'm not sure how it would work for a lure. The stuff you got looks nice tho for sure.

You have some ridiculous talent!!!!!

That's also really cool using the vaneer! They look amazing! I really like the dark colored blue/black/green one!

im sure its suited for fishing rods better cos of that adhesive and maybe some flatter cranks for example grandma it would work just as well as the stuff i used for others it might be a bit iffy, i guess its a matter of preference really in the end
