I got caught up on rod builds and had a couple of minutes this afternoon to shoot some lure pics. Posts: 908 Location: South-Central PA | Finished these two baits up about 2 weeks ago...I think. It's hard for me to remember anything right now, my mind is clogged with thoughts of chasing whitetails. The first bait is 12" minnow body in Fire Perch and it weighs about 9 oz. It has 2" stainless eye screws, 3x size 7 stainless split rings, and size 7/0 Mustad 3551 hooks. I custom cut the 3/16" lexan diving lip and it's epoxied in and anchored with three 0.62" stainless steel pins. The line tie is also of the same 0.62" stainless steel wire. This bait should run in the 20'-25' range. The second bait is one of my 8" minnow bodies in black sucker. It's built with standard hardware: 1.5" stainless eye screws, 3x size 7 stainless split rings, and 5/0 VMC 8696 trebles. It is built to run in the 15'-18' range.
