Is there any way to make a provision on this box to keep pliers, boga, etc handy? I'm wanting something for mine, but I like the rounded design and more importantly the compact size so it isn't in my way but I need something that can hold tools and such.

I use this box for baits in the front of my rig. You could easily make modifications to accomplish what your trying to do. Find a holder for the tool or tools you wish to apply to the box. Then simply take electrical tape and wrap around the entire box securing the holders for your tools. I've applied electrical tape around mine just for extra support to avoid cracking from the beating it takes in rough water. Now that you have me thinking i think i'll do the same to mine.

I thought of the notion of getting a nylon strap and rivetting it around the exterior of it to hold tools as well.

Yes...there is something available from T's Tackle. I would check on their website. They do make a strap as someone else described above. If you can't find it send me a PM and I will see if I can get you one.

OK I'll ask about the strap when I order. I like the just encase box a lot but I tend to tuck my feet up some if I'm actually sitting on the seat and I think it would be in the way a little

there are 3 holes in the bottom so you can have it off set if you want. That and there is a bottom on it so you hooks wont get stuck in the carpet

I may still consider it then. I wish I could see one in person. to get a feel for it.

The T's tackle large one is pretty big. I love it, but my heels do hit it if I tuck them under the pedestal seat. The encase box may be better. The T's box is well designed and is fine after one season but not real solid feeling - the dividers are a little flimsy IMO. I am guessing the just encase stuff is built like a tank???

Hey guys,

We ran into this post and wanted to help you all out. Epic Outdoor Media has been working close with Bob Schmitt from Just Encase gearing up for the show season. Here is a quick video and some pics of the new Pedestal Box rolling out for the winter shows. This is a great quality product that he will have at all the the large shows, Chicago, Milwaukee, Wausau, and Minnesota (as long as he doesn't sell out) If you are really interested and want one at the shows I would give him a call or email so he can save you one!

[email protected]

I am also uploading this to the video forum of this site for everyone in the future!

Thanks
Matt - EOM

Thanks for posting that. I unfortunately won't be able to make any shows this coming year but I'll definitely order one next month. I cut a piece of cardboard to the just encase dimensions to test fit on my front deck and I think set towards the cockpit it'll be just fine
