Are you going to have enough raffle tickets this year? Because I'll find any excuse to drive Jeff's truck. ; )

I am going to push really hard for us to be back up in the ballroom this year, last year's spot was kind of...crap. However, since we pay nothing for the space and charge those who attend the same amount, beggars really can't be choosers. AND, finding a new location for 300+ people where we're not going to be charged might be a bit difficult.

Posts: 100 | Hey i do appreciate the effort....though i saw people drop $50 bucks there even if the average is below that its $5000-$10000 in food&beverage Seems like a few places would want that buisness

Posts: 537 Location: Gilberts IL/Rhinelander WI | I didn't mind downstairs either, the back room was fine. If people are coming to a lure swap they are gonna find you. It's not like you're trying to pawn pounders to the bowlers. Edited by 5th lake Brad 11/20/2012 6:58 PM

Hear-Hear for the ballroom! An optimum space to conduct THE tackle swap event! What good's a Show without a Swap? I was troubled last year when the best offer I got for a M9 Grandma was a Donkey Pinyata, but it got a little better once I discovered some better stuff in the noisy Timeout barroom! Go BEERS!

I like the first floor too although it was a bit crowded. The tables weren't a high point, but I believe it worked anyway. It was easier to bring the goods in and it was faster food service. Of course it was also nice that you didn't have to go so far for the buckets of beer!
